I’m truly honored and grateful to share my experience as a recipient of the 2023 Women Cyber Force (WCF) scholarship. This life-changing program, created to uplift women in cybersecurity, opened doors for me to study Information Systems Security Management at the University of Luxembourg. That journey reshaped my perspective completely—especially in a field where we need more women’s insights now than ever.
Let me be clear: the WCF scholarship wasn’t just about financial support. What really mattered was feeling seen. When you’re a woman navigating cybersecurity, having leaders literally invest in your potential? That’s game-changing.
Huge shoutout to Chairwoman Sabika Ishaq, her tireless work behind this movement inspires me daily. And to Anusha Moonshiram and Barbara Longo: your backup and support meant everything. These women don’t just talk about supporting female talent, they’re building highways for it.
The Luxembourg master’s program? Think of it like cybersecurity boot camp meets real-world strategy sessions. Tough? Absolutely. Worth it? 100%. I came out with skills I actually use at work every single day.
