SUMMARY:Launch event GirlsinSciTech
DESCRIPTION:  \nLaunch event of the “GirlsinSciTech” campaign which will take place on Thursday 9 January 2025 at the Forum Geesseknäppchen\,  40 boulevard Pierre Dupong 1430\, Luxembourg\, Luxembourg from 9:00 to 14:00. \nThis campaign aims to promote studies in engineering\, computer science\, mathematics and physics among girls aged from 12 to 18 years in Luxembourg and beyond. The project has the support of the Luxembourg National Research Fund (FNR) as well as the three Ministries: the Ministry of Education\, Children and Youth; the Ministry of Research and Higher Education and the Ministry for Gender Equality and Diversity. \nDuring the launch event\, experts\, alumni and partners will discuss the current and future challenges to encourage girls to pursue studies in STEM fields. In addition\, several stands will present some initiatives and visitors will be able to exchange with each other. The event will be moderated by Lisa Burke.
